Goodbye London

Currently in the Club Lounge at Heathrow airport – we board in less than an hour. It’s been a very busy few days and we finally have an answer. Mark was fortunate to have two choices, which we had to weigh up. We had to consider the job and how Mark felt about each of them, the salaries and the location. For a while there it looked like we were going to be in Norfolk, but Liverpool won out in the end. There are some very nice parts of Liverpool, but I have been quite taken with the idea of living in the cathedral town of Chester, which is commuting distance for Mark. We’ll wait and see.

For now some more shots.

Here’s a great song with a fun video about saying goodbye to London. I found it at In the Aquarium.

  1. How exciting for you both.
Am wondering about what you plan to do, workwise?

  2. Totally hopeless with maps but I recommend you go visit Fleetwood near Blackpool as it has a great archaeolgy group and fossil named Brian
Congrats to Mark and your photos were/are lovely :)
