Spring has sprung!

A glorious spring day today so I went across the road to take some pictures at the park. This morning we had our usual breakfast at the local cafe, ran some errands and did the fruit and veg shopping. We also stopped in at the travel agent to book the Eurostar London-Paris-London leg of our journey. That’s all of the major travel and accommodation taken care of. Only thirteen weeks to go! It’s Frogdancer‘s birthday today so we’ll be attending her party tonight. We’ve got a nice dessert to take.

It was Doris’ turn at the vet yesterday – she’s got some abrasions around her neck and we’re not sure how she got them – she’s never been in fights before and she hardly ever even goes outside anymore. The vet also discovered an ear infection. If there’s one thing Doris hates it’s having her ears examined, cleaned or poked. She was not a happy girl – I’ll spare you all the details but I can tell you she wanted to evacuate, in more ways than one. Enough said.
