Cold and Foggy Morning

I did another thing on my holiday list today – photography. Rhonda, our cleaning lady, comes on Wednesdays so I have to make myself scarce – she doesn’t like it when you’re there. It was such a cold foggy morning that I thought I’d take my camera out with me. As I left before nine I had some time to kill before David Jones opened so I went across the road to the park and took some early morning shots. The first one is from my front garden.

Look at all the tiny droplets of water!

So foggy! I love taking shots of the park, not only because it’s conveniently located across the street, but because there are some lovely vistas that look so different according to the time of year and time of day.

Here’s the same view in early spring:

After that I went to DJs and bought Mark an umbrella and a couple of jumpers, plus a few things for myself. Had a spot of morning tea too.

The holidays have been going well. Orlando has been back at the vet because he needed to have his insulin increased and Dr John wanted to check his blood glucose levels. Orlando’s also been shaking his head and scratching his ear, but of course, when  he spends the entire day at the vets Dr John reports no symptoms and no ear mites. The moment Orlando comes home though, he starts shaking his head again – it appears that he obviously didn’t want too much medical attention from the vet! Perhaps he’s trying to save us some money.
