Yesterday was the shortest day of the year – walking home from the grocery shopping the park looked so beautiful I had to go back with my camera, I think I caught the only sunshine of the day.
Look how long the shadows are – it was 11am!
Then we picked up Orlando from the vets and he was looking much better – all rehydrated and fluffy. He seems happier – still has his appetite and bounds up the stairs. The vet showed me how to inject him – very easy. The hardest part is getting the little bubbles out of the needle.
It’s cold, cloudy and wet today – a perfect day for staying in. I love wintry Sundays at home.
Wintry weekends are the BEST…. unless you have to get up at 3am to drop a child off at school to fly to Tassie. It was raining….
