Yesterday I did my first bit of micro planning for our trip. Well, technically it’s probably the second or third micro planning event as I had already booked an afternoon tea at our hotel on Christmas Eve as well as our dinner that night and Christmas Lunch (but technically they were part of an accommodation booking – which counts as macro planning). Anyway – I booked tickets to see Derek Jacobi in Twelfth Night at Wyndham’s Theatre in London. You have to really be careful booking theatre tickets online as there are so many sites that sell them for London theatre – I came across one site that was charging almost three times the actual ticket cost! I went straight to source and booked through the theatre.
I also want to book something Christmas-y at the Royal Albert Hall – which one do you think I should go to?
a) King’s College Choir (link doesn’t work but here’s last year’s)
b) Handel’s Messiah
c) Singalong Christmas Carols
or
d) The Glory of Christmas?

Couldn’t miss with Handel’s Messiah.
