The dinner party went very well last night – I think the guests enjoyed themselves.
Note the fleur de lys napkin folding! Mark and I enjoy hosting dinner parties, we are a well-oiled entertaining team. Mark does most of the cooking, though I often prepare cheese platters and source and serve dessert – plus I put the salmon in the oven last night! I am responsible for atmosphere, table setting, drinks serving (I make a good Martini).
When the guests have left we like to do as much cleaning up as possible – nothing worse than waking up to a big old mess the next morning.
I think I managed to sell a few more people on Vistaprint – I should be getting paid commission with the work I do for them! I also had a lovely talk with S about photography.
Andreas and I joined a photography club at the start of the year as a way of developing our skills. It has been good, we now frame our pictures when taking them and generally take less pictures but of higher quality. However, I still take too many pictures of my little girl!
